Every time you hear my voice, with every word and every number, you will enter into a still deeper layer, open, relaxed and receptive. I shall now count from one to ten. Two, your hands and your fingers are getting warmer and heavier. Three, the warmth is spreading through your arms, to your shoulders and your neck. Four, your feet and your legs get heavier. Five, the warmth is spreading to the whole of your body. On six, I want you to go deeper. I say: six. And the whole of your relaxed body is slowly beginning to sink. PORQUE A MAIOR ESCRITORA PORTUGUESA FAZ HOJE 90 ANOS...

... Depois de acabar de rever o maravilhoso Melancholia, de Lars von Trier, na RTP 1, vou folhear o Dicionário Imperfeito (extraordinária selecção de pensamentos de Agustina Bessa-Luís), que já depositei, para o efeito, na mesa-de-cabeceira. E sei que assim a minha aula da manhã de amanhã (hoje...) será muito mais inspirada e inspiradora.

DOS CINEASTAS DO ESPÍRITO

Noto, com muito agrado, que o bloguista Miguel Vaz anseia pelo regresso do cineasta católico dinamarquês Lars Von Trier. Também eu. Para me preparar, irei rever todas as suas fitas. E, antes ainda, revisitar a obra integral do Mestre Carl Theodor Dreyer, seu assumido pai espiritual.

Enquanto o Sol, lá fora, queima a pele e seca o cérebro — disse-mo, assim mesmo, certa vez, uma amiga psiquiatra —, e depois de ter almoçado no Entre Copos (não ia lá desde o Jantar dos Filipados de 2007 — cá estou eu, no centro da fotografia), tiro a tarde para pôr visionamentos em dia. Assim sendo, finalmente — de empreitada, mas com agradável surpresa —, vi: Waking Life (2001) de Richard Linklater (obrigado à, minha atenta aluna — não digo «ex», pois são para a vida — da ETIC, C.) e De Fem Benspaend (2003) de Jorgen Leth e Lars Von Trier (obrigado à, muito cá de CASA, Rita).
